Laid off
It seems this term is chasing around everyone of us these days. About three weeks before our wedding my husband was "laid off" We were the last couple of our friends to be hit and had been running from it for months. We made it through the holidays but man it blew our honeymoon. My husband who has worked since he was 8 was now at home and I had just gone back to work so luckily we were saved there. Income taxes paid for our wedding and helped with bills till unemployment kicked in but there were no jobs in sight for his skill set. We had read Total Money Makeover and that really saved our butt. We buy everything in bulk, cut down on the extra's, and are just doing everything we can to stay afloat. We are not by anymeans perfect and cut it tight some months. We fight over bills and money but right now who doesn't. We have two growing mouths to feed. My husband is working in Real Estate and doing better than most he has some deals waiting to go through and once they do we will have our safety net. I am in school for accounting and I use every resource I can even though they are small. We are too middle class to get much help even with him laid off due to what I make and his unemployment. But if you are going through the same thing don't be bashful or afraid to accept kindness from others. At this time in this country we should be there for everyone and remember to put something in your mailbox May 9th to stamp out hunger cause even if we are hungry someone is hungrier than us and we can help them. Remember to love your spouse during this time as it is stressful for everyone involved don't break apart come together and support each other. The laid off one already feels like a failure.

Married finally and so excited!!
I got married yesterday on my 28th Birthday and our ten year wedding anniversary!! It was a wonderful magical day...LMAO yeah right full of stress and bridezilling. I was elated to walk through the door and walk down to my man. Now that it is over we are relieved and happy. We got to cuddle into the afternoon today...ahhhhh so nice

I love my son
I constantly yell at my family to keep that bathroom door shut because Nicholas likes to get into the toilet and they slack well he finally did something and lodged a ball into the toilet. After three days of it not working we had our friend come over who is a plumber and he literally gave our toilet a rectal exam and pulled out the ball. It was sooooo gross!!!!!!!!!!! but now out toilet works and now maybe they will keep the door shut!!!

My son and the Butcher
He was in love the moment he walked in. It was like the clouds open and this was his version of heaven. He pressed his little face against the glass and had to look at all the meat. He had to run around and take all the extra sauces in. I would not be surprised if this boy grows up to be a chef. So at the end we got a pepperoni stick for him and his sister to share and the whole time all I heard was ummmmmmmm yummm, no mine. He did not want to share at all because it was so good. I just love that little boy he cracks us up!!!!!

What a day
I have a secret and I cannot tell. Yep I cannot tell. I am however going in tomorrow to have my breast checked out so please pray that the lump is nothing. So I got my Cricket and Monkey bag.
http://www.cricketandmonkey.com This bag is adorable. I have the Taylor Weekender in the Monkee pattern and let me tell you that I will be keeping this bag for the next one as well.
About the bag. The strap is wider at the top to give you more support and less pain. It came with a changing mat and has multiple compartments on the inside for your bottles, a key chain clip to hold on to those keys since you know you always lose them in the bag and spacious doesn't even begin to describe it. If you truly want a high quality bag then this is it so head on over to http://www.cricketandmonkey.com and check it out

Halloween is coming
and I have ordered mine and Nicholas's costumes. He is eeyore and I am a sexy Eskimo. I now have to work my butt off to wear this costume but I will get there. Nicholas is going to make such a cute eeyore. Jasz wants to be Tinker bell or a Fairy with a poofy skirt but we are just having no luck. I have sunday off so maybe we will look then. We are going to the pumpkin patch on sunday I am very much so looking forward to that!!! Nicholas is now old enough to understand it.
